Bluzec, the global initiative redefining quantum innovation, today announced that Andrea Rodríguez, a leading expert in quantum technologies and in managing and building startup ecosystems, will join its Quantum Excellence Committee. This appointment reinforces Bluzec’s mission to build the world’s most advanced quantum ecosystem for real-world applications, connecting top-tier quantum startups, major corporations, and strategic investors to accelerate adoption and deliver transformative impact.

Bluzec was first envisioned at a deep-tech event at Harvard University in 2023 with a bold goal: to create a collaborative platform where innovation thrives. By connecting pioneering startups with industry leaders and investors, Bluzec aims to fast-track quantum technologies from research to real-world solutions across sectors such as finance, healthcare, logistics, and cybersecurity.
About Andrea
Andrea Rodríguez brings extensive experience in quantum technology strategy, policy, and ecosystem building. She currently serves as Director for Quantum Technologies at Adigital (The Spanish Association for the Digital Economy), leading Spain’s efforts to become Europe’s digital hub and a bridge to Latin America, and chairs the governing board of IMPAQT, a quantum computing cooperative from Delft in the Netherlands, driving the creation of interoperable interfaces and quantum computing standards. Andrea has advised European governments on deep-tech strategies, contributed to the NATO 2030 process, participating in one of the advisory groups, and held leadership roles at CEPS and EPC. Her work spans quantum standardization, cybersecurity, and industrial policy, making her a key voice in shaping Europe’s quantum future.
